SRS light on always
SRS light on always
I got an estimate from Honda of Salem to fix my SRS light on the dash. $3,600 to take care of the SRS light. $2,800 for the seat frame and the rest in labor. WTF?
I mean, there are sensors in the seat. Electronic switches and sensors that are causing the code to be thrown. You would think that they could diagnose which sensor it is and replace it or fix it, but they just want to replace the seat frame. Doesn't sound right to me, so I didn't do it. They're classifying the part as "vintage parts" because none are readily available, hence the hefty price tag. At this point I've resigned myself to be driving around without airbags, oh well. I would like to get the light off though.
The code is a 82-12 on my Foxwell scanner "Permanent DTC", "DTC-No signal from the inner side front passenger's weight sensor."

Ahhh, found on your profile, finally. You posted on general electrical section, but stuff changes between years and models.
