Smile MAP sensor engine when driving to puddles.

1994 Honda civic DX. the engine was swapped. The engine is a 1995 1.5L D15B.
I've had this issue for years now. Car stalls when driving through puddles of water. I get a MAP sensor engine code. OBD showed 20psi on the MAP.

Check the connector and the wiring. Either it's getting wet or you're sucking in water. Do you have an aftermarket intake?

Re: MAP sensor engine when driving to puddles.

i do not have an aftermarket intake. When I get the engine code my OBD shows 20psi. If I start up the car and push the gas for a minute or two the PSI goes back down to normal and I can clear the engine code.
I'll check the wiring.
Does water usually get in from below the air filter?
