No check engine lights of any sort .. and actually it will get up to like 60 pretty decent for just a 1.5 non v-tec. But it was turboed. By last own but he removed everything for the Turbo setup except the gauges .. he left those in the car. But as far as motor work he didn't mention much about modification. Inside the motor. Except thicker gaskets to boosting. The car has full 2" exhaust with headers. And that's regular headers not the headers from Turbo setup which u would kno.by this point .. thank u for any help

You might be discovering why the previous owner got rid of it.

Does it still have a cat?
If it hasn't been removed, I might start with vacuum drop and backpressure tests.

There is no cat in the exhaust system .. and I bought the car because he was told the roof above windshield is dented in from hood flying open and smashing windshield .. I kno have a friend that knows the guy that had it before the guy I bought it from and he is the one who had this car turboed and trying to reach him to get more info on this car.

Re: 93 civic dx feals alittle under powered!! help

advance the spark a little by turning distributor and put 91 octane in it with NGK iridium spark plugs. you should have plenty of gusto then.

^ sorry, for now that is trying to mask the issues.
he needs to solve the real issue, but needs to do at the least remove some parts and see if they need replacement. look at the oil color comment for example.

Well guys sorry I didn't get back sooner .. but swapped out for new omni 7mm plug wires and ngk plugs and runs way better and alot more snap and go to it!! Now next is she is burning alot more gas and yes I always run 91 octane in my vehicles. And I filled tank full and drove 65 miles and used nearly 1/2 a tank? And no there is no fuel pressure regulator or any else for the fuel delivery unless ot like the O2. Senser? I have cold air intake but I kno that doesn't change the way your car should burn that much fuel that fast. And I got a friend that has been helping me and he is gonna do the oil change for me sinc I just went through a shoulder surgery 2 weeks ago but ya it's black as a asphalt!!
