Re: right turn signal

There might be some difference in the bulb. Usually when u install LED's they blink faster. They draw such a low voltage that the ECU thinks they are burnt out. Maybe it's the same size bulb and base but only 6 volts instead of 12, or less watts. Hope that helps.

Re: right turn signal

Try the new bulb in the other side and see if the problem follows the bulb, double check the original and the new bulbs actual #s

To re: LEDs draw a low current... and ECU and turn signals ??

Re: right turn signal

so i just swapped the bulbs over to test it. and they are both blinking faster than they should be. all connections are correct. bulbs are the exact same just one newer than the other.

Re: right turn signal

with the 4-way flashers turned on all the lights are blinking at a uniform speed like they would with no problem. but when using just the right turn signal it still blinks too fast

Re: right turn signal

Start by pulling the steering column covers off and inspect the wires and connection at the combo switch (turn signal switch). It's either the combo switch itself, a bad wire between the combo switch and the turn signal, or a bad ground.

You can also download the manual and diagnose it yourself with a multi-meter.
