how big is to big?
how big is to big?
I have a 2000 dx and I want to swap out my b16 for a h22 any prelude year doesn't matter. I was told it would fit but a h23 wouldn't. So how do you really measure the engine and what can fit. I was also told any I could buy "any" honda engine like a new "11 model and stick it into my 2000 dx, is this true?

Or a beetle...

Yeah, the rad was placed in the rear, where the engine was. all lines custom made.

Re: how big is to big?
First off, you can't swap any prelude year in, you can swap in an h22 from a 00 or 01 legally.
Second, you can swap in any engine you like, it's just a matter of budget. If you want to spend $10k on a brand new 2012 2.4 engine you could swap it in for a price.
Third, the weight discussion has been had many times, I have a link to an ongoing debate in the h22 swap guide. In my opinion an h22 is fine for all types of driving, not just a drag strip.
