Wiper problem in 98 ex coupe.

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forums.
I'm wondering if anyone knows how to fix a problem I've been having.
My wipers like to move on their own recently. Mostly it happens when I hit a bump, but not every time I hit a bump. Sometimes they do one complete cycle sometimes they just start to go and stop.
Then, yesterday when I started my car up after work they started going before I had even gone anywhere. I turned my wipers on and off and on and off again but they kept cycling. They finally stopped after about a minute, and I drove home. It's not a huge enough problem to pay someone to troubleshoot, but it's annoying enough. I think it could possibly be a grounding problem, but when I looked at the wiring diagram in the service manual there was not an obvious grounding point for the wiper motor system.
Any help is welcome!
Thanks,
Greg

I think the problem may be in the motor. I think the disc that makes the wipers park properly is probably causing the problem.

Most likely a bad wiper switch. You're correct that it could be the motor itself though. That's going to be tough to troubleshoot if it doesn't occur all the time.
