Gear Shifter locked [solved]
I looked at all fuses none are bad. Gear shifter won't go out of park. Breaks lights work. Help Please.
It's a 2000 civic

Interlock solenoid might have failed. Have you tried the override?

Yes. But thanks. I took the covers off of gear shift and found that something had been spilled onto gear shifter. It was sticky and would not allow the shifter to move correctly. Fixed now
