2000 civic ex auto wont start

please help guys....
Ok so one morning before work i went to start my car and nothing no crank engine will not turn no nothing.... so i got a brand new starter swithced it and engine cranks turns but still no start!! ok since my distributor hade warranty i went agead and changed it and still no spark teted all of my fuzs all relays the gas pump and there all good! the only thing thats left is the ECU.... please help one more thing the wires that go to the distributer has no voltage and testing that at the ecu end it doesnt eather so could it be the ecu??????
PS important when i was changing the starter i forgot to unplug the battery and as i was pulling it out a huge spark was made.... i know i should know better!!! I need help and pronto please!!

Here is what you need to start a car:
1. fuel
2. spark
3. air
4. compression.
Find which one you dont have, and go from there. It sounds like you have no spark at the distributor? Make sure the connectors are in all the way. I would test the fuel pressure just for the hell off it.
If I remember correctly, the ecu sends a .5 volt signal to ignition coil (I may be way off on this, verify first) and if that signal is not there, then yes you may have "let the smoke out of your computer".
