Unhappy no reverse

did an engine swap and now the car will not move while in reverse. drives well in foward except that it is a little sluggish in d4 (automatic Trans) as though it is slipping. Can anyone tell me where to look in fixing this problem.

Re: no reverse

Okay did you swap transmissions as well or switch your old one to the new engine? It could be a defective tranny if its a new one. Need to go back and check the work to make sure everything is installed properly...
