Rad questions
Hello,
I'm looking at a 1998 Civic, 81K, manual, 1.6L I believe. Belt and water pump just changed. Should I be worried about the small radiator? I've seen numerous ads for Civics saying..."radiator replaced". My 1991 Civic did not have a small radiator like a 1998 Civic. I'm pretty ignorant about this radiator dilemma. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!

Re: Rad questions
Youll be fine, it came that way from the factory. I think if you are running excessive heat then you'll need to upgrade, example the heat produced from boosting might bog down a radiator that old. I think you'll be alright, just replace it if you run into problems.
Its a pain in the *** to do the timing belt and water pump. Its good that got taken care of already for ya.

Re: Rad questions
Thanks. The car is being sold for $3500 and I did not want to pay that much for another person's problems. I'm gonna go look at it very soon. It's a one owner grandma car supposedly.
