Headlight/key buzzer alert broken
Hi, the alarm buzzer that sounds letting me know my lights are left on is broken. I keep forgetting them on now and need a jump. Should be a simple fix? But I'm not sure where to start. A fuse maybe? Thx for any help!
Edit: the front dome doesn't come on either. Switch in the door???

Re: Headlight/key buzzer alert broken
Yes, I believe the dome light still works. Nothing went out except the ability to ding when the door is open and the key is in the ignition and/or the lights are on. It does ding sometimes for something else, so that part isn't broken. Think for the seatbelt.
I did check the owner's manual, and it didn't specify a fuse for that. Unless someone knows which one to check, i guess i'll have to check them all.
And hey, you never know - I might find why the a/c and air bags aren't working.
Thx,
Kristen

Along with testing the dome w/drivers door, also make sure your dome comes on when you shut off the car and remove the key from ignition.
These will test 2 of the required switches.

[QUOTE=mfskarphedin;4613544]Didn't come on when i opened the door QUOTE]
There is a plunger switch (black rubber cover) on the body, in the area where the door meets the body.
See if it still intact (they can get broken easily)
Look at passenger side for reference.

Found the door switch. Disconnected. Dunno if i did that, but i'm having a hell of a time fishing it out without a second pair of needlenose pliers.
Oh, found the fuse to the a/c blown, replaced it, still no cold air. :/

Re: Headlight/key buzzer alert broken
Finally fished it out with the help of a guitar string. The clip is broken, so that's why it fell in. I pulled the switch out and will get one at the auto parts store when i get a few bucks. Thanks for the help! Kinda pleased with myself, hah.
