door sensor

alright guys, this problem has cost me some money already. i have locked my keys in my car 3 times in 2 months because of this.
i have a 04 em2 stick sedan. the auto re lock (30 sec after hitting unlock) is re locking the car even after i open the door, i have traced the problem back to to door sensor, because if i hit unlock and open the passenger door, then it does not re lock the car, but it does if i open the drivers door. also the interior lights do not come on if i open the drivers door. its really wierd

help please!!!!!!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: door sensor

You need a door jamb switch.

Re: door sensor

Take the passenger switch and move it over to drivers side.
