HELP with 2004 civic lx sedan rear speaker install

Hey, I need help with the rear panel removal to install new speakers.
It kinda feels like Im going to break the side-back rests when try to pop them open.
Any suggestions or more clarified steps?
and PLEASE update the pictures on this DIY, its missing some pictures .

you have to push a side straight up. because on the top of that piece has a plastic hook. When I did mine i broke that piece out because I didn't do it carefully enough. I'll post some pics.

Check the two images I attached. Actually, from that DIY thread, you will see that the writer stated to push plastic piece from the bottom after he folded the seat down also. He said that he uses his thumbs. I hope the pictures will make it clearer.
