How to extend battery cables?
I searched and found that 4 gauge wire is the correct size but what kind of connectors do I use if I'm trying to extend the power and ground cables that connect to my battery? So a connector connecting stock battery cable/wire to my new battery cable/wire. Thanks for the help.
I was considering the JL Audio Master Fuse Block - XB-MFBU-ANL.

Re: How to extend battery cables?
Worse advice ever!
This isn't a little wire we're talking about. It's 4 gauge! If you haven't seen it, it's the size of your thumb. It's unsafe and impractical for a wire this size to be snipped and taped. You'd be better off buying that fuse block. It'll serve two functions for the price of one: To connect your wires and protecting your equipment with the fuse.

I have that exact fuse and it works like a charm. I ran my positive 4 gauge wire through the passenger side grommet and then hid the fuse behind the small lower panel next to the door. I then ran it to a distributor block that split into 2 8 gauge wires for my amps. Very easy and clean if you are willing to take off interior panels with the wonderful DIYs on this site.
