I highly recommend the Viper. The Model # will vary depending on your needs. If you want just a basic alarm (siren, flashing lights, shock sensor, door lock/unlock) I would recommend the Viper300. If you want remote start I recommend the Viper550. The DIY isn't really that difficult provided that you know your way around with a multi meter. There is very little support for the 7thGenCivics so you have to go poking around. Even the DIY on this site is off a little bit. If you plan to DIY you might have to get a DEI brand other than Viper. Python, Wasp, Hornet.. they are all 100% identical. Viper has a policy that they can only be installed by a dealer, unless you know them and the wil sell it to you over the counter. Just be prepared to take your car apart and take some time if you want it done right. If you do decide to DIY just reply to this post and/or send me a private message. I installed my Viper 550ESP and will be glad to provide you with pictures and information of my install.
