okay do you know what the gauge cluster is? the piece with the speedo, tach, gas, etc with needles. above the steering wheel. the blue connector is plugged into the cluster with a bunch of wires coming out.

you have to remove the black trim around the cluster to gain access to the wiring in back. there are two screws on top just below the dash that come off, then you need to stick your fingers in behind the bezel and pull hard. its glued on too so you need alot of force. once thats out, you can see where the cluster is screwed on, and where the connectors are.

I was wondering about that. the top pops right outl, but there was too much resistance on the bottom to just be some panel poppers back there. way too much.

grenloch101056 is an unknown quantity at this point
going to the fusebox for the wiring is a pita. if you look at the green factory alarm plug up high in the drivers kickpanel you'll see a blue wire, thats the negative trigger for the parking light wire. Its actually easier to just take out the coin box unit and get the plug from there

yes, the neg wire is in the steering column as well, easy access. this alarm uses a high current +12V output, unfortunately. im stuck!

Have the output drive a small relay. Then switch the -trigger lead to ground.

What kind of alarm is it? because DEI alarms let you switch the polarity of the parking light output.
