I just dropped off my 2005 Civic sedan at car toys to get the factory radio back in. They just gave me a call and said they can't put the factory back in because they are missing the mounting brackets on the factory radio. I gave them the head unit and the pocket to fill the second din..its basically all they gave me when i first got the aftermarket install. I just wanna know if they are bsing me or are they telling me the truth. Any help if possible! I don't want to be charged with bullshit labor on something dumb. Thanks

all there is is the metal brackect that screws into the dash, the center console, the pocket for the stock head unti and the stock head unit. nothing else.

custom build what? lemme get a pic of what there is that's an actual pic, and when you get the car back, check yourself too, if they're bsing you, call it.

alright i cant find a good pic, but make them explain what it is they had to make, cuz they're full of more bs than a rodeo. there are 4 peices to the whole console when it comes to the head unit, the climate control (the console itself with the ***** buttons, etc), the pocket underneath the head unit, and the headunit itself, now you can see all those parts, the part they cant see is a metal bracket the the factory headunit screws into, and also screws the whole console into the mount on the dash. it's number 14 on the pic i put before. A lot of audio installers leave it out cuz they're lazy, so if it isn't there and they had to make one, and it is the same installer, tell them to shove the bill wherever they put the original bracket.

Wow I can buy it for a mere 7 bucks at the dealership..you saved me big time..I'm jsut going to wait til they say something about custom building something and charging like a gazllion bucks for it then I'm just gonna be like you knwo theres a honda dealership down the road I'll be rigth back lol..Thanks again man MUCH APPRECIATED.
