alarm problem

my alarm is acting up. sometimes the chirp will sound sometimes it wont. tried looking for loose connections but could not find any. everything else is working, lights will blink, doors will lock/unlock. what else could be causing this?

check the ground for the siren. its usually grounded nearby or on the bracket where its mounted.

^^ exactly.. sounds like you have problems with the siren connection with the ground. I had that problem before, turns out my ground wire for the siren kept on coming loose when i drive the car around. I jsut resrewed it back onto something metal and no more problems with it
