Front speakers?
Ok so I wanted to get Polk components for the fronts and I was told they don't fit because they are too thick. What can I put in there? Is there a way to modify the area to make the thicker ones fit. I know Mohawk will know this, so thanks in advance.

The Polks will fit.. Just need to space out the speakers more... build your won spacers out of MDF, or even good quality ply wood. Screw the spakers to the OEM holes. Screw the speakers to the spacer.

How thick of spacers will fit in the front door speaker hole? I'm having the same problem and I just want to know what thickness of MDF to buy.

yeah just cut it to fit thats what i did to. and also go by your local shop and pick up some baffles. they really make a huge difference and they r only like 7 bucks or so. i sware they give a better kick to your mid bass besides they protect it from water that sometimes gets down there. and do it in the back too because they protect it from the pressure of your subs in the trunk. so they don't move out of whack.
