ground wire

(i seached, and didnt find my answer) hey guys, im running two jl amps from my trunk. One is a 300/4 and a 500/1 and I was wondering where is a good sonild ground mounting place.
Did the factory put one any were where you can put the ground in the trunk

I put both my amp grounds to a hole in the metal hump between the trunk and seats. Just find a screw that will be tight. I can take a pic if you want.

If u lift up your carpet, right infront of your back seat (that's confusing) in the trunk, there are a few bolts that screw down into the trunk....use those.

or if you lift up the rear seat you will find a bolt that the seatbelt uses, also a great easy choice for grounding

Yeah those are good. Mine's just a tiny screw holding it. Just be sure to shave off the paint and put connector protector grease (dielectric) so it doesn't rust up.

as long as it's a good connection (clean) and it doesn't pop loose, you're money. so don't duct tape onto the trunk lid please...

I highly recommend a wire wheel attachment on a dremel - small enough to get to those hard to reach places.
