Ok, my Pioneer changer is pretty old but still plays fine with no skipping at all really, but there is no memory and when i shut my HU off while its on the multi-cd source, it also won't turn on automatically now so I have to press source. Thats not a big deal but I'm interested to know if any brand of CD changer has a memory opition.. and what does a changer with FM modulator actually do thats better?

I can't answer ur question but since ur on the cd changer subject I have one question that's been troubling me...i have a Sony HU and a Sony FM modulated 10 disc changer, but the changer's remote doesn't work, so is it possible for me to use the HU's changer controls to control the changer?
