Covering the factory CD changer?
I just got the OEM CD-changer in the mail, and I've been entertaining the idea of using the door from the current storage compartment to hide it. It seems like the opening is exactly the same size (I have to measure, but just comparing the two pieces, it seems they are close if not identical), and the only gotcha is that the storage compartment has some little mechanism on the right-hand side which presumably holds the door in it's open and closed positions.
So it seems like I could make holes in the CD Changer trim for the door to hinge upon, but does anyone have any suggestions on how I could adapt the closer mechanism to fit in with the changer, or any ideas on how I could hold it closed without the mechanism?

Thanks! Sorry if this has been covered before...I dug through all the threads in ICE/Electrical and searched on the web for awhile but I came up empty.
