Wiring sub question...

I am soon going to put my sub-amp under the passenger seat (since the 4 gauge wiring is already there from my ill-fated attempt at my 4 channel amp under there (which is going to be relocated to the trunk). My question is: Will there be a problem with this setup under the seat since the speaker wire (16 gauge) will have to run all the way from the passenger seat to under the trunk? Will there be a problem of the signal/power traveling long distance?

LudlamTheory is an unknown quantity at this point
you should really pick a sub before you pick an amp. the sub is what makes the sound and what sound like it should sound like, the amp just makes it move.

Buying online? For $150 you have lots of options...JLW3v2, Shiva, Alpine TypeR, Kicker L7, ID or IDQ, Eclipse Aluminums, or Diamond M6 just to name a few........

And I would use 12 guage wire. Hell, I even have 12 guage running to my speakers in the doors.
