Greddy front lip?????

Does anybody on this forum have a greddy front lip on their cars. I want to know if it fits right. I know its polyurethane so i would strech a lil bit. I have a abs lip now and i want the greddy one b/c it looks so much better. If anybody have tried it or have post up pics.

I'm molding an RSX Greddy lip onto my new bumper at the moment:

Of course this is for an EL....so it doesn't apply to the topic, but I saw "Greddy" and had to chime in.

Telly, this new bumper pwns your current one...it looks too busy and imo takes away from the look of your car, esp with the splitter on there...

They DO NOT make one that fits our car. The closest to our they have is a 99-00 Si. Buy in, cut it in half, extend it, slap it on haha.

Thanks dude. I decided to simplify a bit, as ELena and I are growing old together and she needs a more "dignified" look. I'm debating putting ONE pair of canards on the new bumper but the jury's out for that, I'll do some test fitting when it's warm out again. The old bumper will either see winter duty or find a new home on someone else's EL.

that looks pretty clean, but i'm not to sure on the lip's vent placement....
If you're talking about mine, believe me when I say it can be made very functional. From first fits I could run a brake cooling duct (totally unnecessary on my car) using those vents with minimal obstruction.

Thankfully no. My bodyshop guy moved to LA to pursue his dream there. Normally I'd just toss him the cash to mold cause he's excellent (look up the "Acurabot", he did that) but since he was gone I did some research and found out what he used to mold my old bumper, I used that - it's a polyurethane structural adhesive, very very strong and should be ok under the paint.

i've known peeps to use the poly stuff to mold things. weighs less than bondo and has a little bit of flexibility as well. bondo would crack away from flexing parts and worsen with vibration. good choice of materials. im glad you chose a diff bumper though. your car seems to have a very clean look as it sits right now except for the front, and i see you understand what i meant by "busy"

lol

props to you man for doing it yourself. i did everything 'cept paint mine. would've done that but the wife was just not gonna let me turn the garage into a paint booth for a few days...or buy the necessary tools (compressor, guns, masking paper, tape, etc) all at once

When your front end has visible screw heads, what appears to be a pair of maxi pad wings on either side, and two protruding rods holding on a sheet of carbon fiber, "busy" is an understatement. What you don't know is that I keep this front end on during the winter (same drop too), and plow the roads of Toronto, Ontario, so as to clear snow for my fellow drivers. So far the mayor's office hasn't paid a single one of my invoices for this wondrous service.

Bump i wanna see if anybody got it on our cars. B/C it cost more than an abs lip. But it is also cheaper than the kamanari front lip that fits our cars perfect. Also tuning my civic ^^^ is that a paintjob or a wrap on your roof it looks good im thinkin bout doing that with a wrap ^^ looks str8!
