g-tec pro...HELP A BROTHER OUT!!!!

anybody have one? or has used one? :confused: ...it said my car only had 80hp!(really upset over here!) :hithead: i'm using it the way the instructions tell me too...is there some secret someone can let me in on?... :help:

yeah...i did it 5 times and averaged the top 3..it was 87 hp...its a bummer..the 1/4 mile time was acceptable..16.09 at 91mph..

That sounds about right for an LX civic. It works by using g-forces lol. When the car moves, there's a sensor that calculates hp from other factors. Maybe it's just not as accurate as a dyno?

When i got my car dyno'd

an Auto dyno'd at 85whp

and mine dyno'd at 115whp

i've got a 5speed ex and was shocked...we put it on a friend mines' eclipse (5speed, v6) and it only brought out 126hp...so, i'm just going to use it for the other stuff, not the dyno...and i'll judge 1/4 mile times for the mods that i do..
