btw, if you want a deeper sound change headers ... and get an intake .. that will also effect the sound of your exhaust. More air flow = deeper sound

its kinda hard to get a really deep sound out of a lil 1.7 inline 4 banger. theres some exhausts that sound really nice but yea remember it has its limits. not only does the wrx got a turbo....but its a flat-4, and thats prolly the biggest factor in why it has so much of a rumble.

but is it juss me.....or is the d17 and the k series quite a bit better than the older honda engines when it comes to aftermarket exhaust sounds? from what ive heard.....they juss seem to output a lil less of a ricey or highpitched sound

It looks like alot is talked about GREDDY, HKS OR TANEBE. I'm thinking about getting the SKUNK2 MEGA POWER CAT BACK. Any Skunk2 enthusiests out there? Is Skunk2 really not that great? what does everyone think?

My thermal rear almost sounds like a sub when I start up the car. It's not very high pitched, so it seems like it isn't loud. I know a catback would be better for you. Also it's one of the better looking exhaust systems out now.

go with a straight pipe with a resonator from the cat with no muffler, my friend she has it on her '99 civic. I hate the sound but it sounds like a freaking truck with the glass packs blown. Not that loud but sounds like it.
