When the doors, hood & trunk are closed, with doors locked.... it does auto arm.

You have an orange/red indicator in the top cluster.

Re: 2007 civic alarm goes off on its own

Do you a remote that is part of the key or is it a separate transmitter?

The factory honda system will only go off for the following reasons:

A door/trunklid/hood opens
A door is unlocked without the car sensing rotation in the outside cylinder.
Someone pushes the panic button

Honda factory systems are pretty reliable and yes they do arm everytime you lock the doors using the factoy key transmitter.

On 8th gens + you can simply use lock button on either side, and then close the doors. And the system will arm
