97 Honda civic hard time shifting into gears

So I recently bought a 5th gen civic and after I bought the car i had no issues shifting it shifted like a dream now all of a sudden its very hard to put in to gear after its warmed up and even when its cold, and i'm having a hard time figuring out this issues should i lube the linkages by the transmission and go from there or just replace the clutch, also a very very loud squeak can be heard when the hood is open and when closed,
