I tapped into the wires...
Gosh darn it i do not have the wiring diagram..
I will look for it ..
But I found the wires underneth the steering wheel, towards the door.
You can see the wires that run into the door,
I tapped in at that point,
I forget the colors and I forget how much cutting I had to do.
sorry

Yes i, have seen that wiring chart, and yes my locks came from factory I have a prestige alarm system wich really (sucks) but will have to do for now anyways the wire's for the door lock outputs from the alarm brain are, red (lock) green (unlock) and a red wire whit a black stripe, that on the manual says if you have nrgative door lock's connect the wire to the car's chassis (ground) and if positive door lock's vise versa, So i ask ya'll what is wrong everything on the alarm works except the stinking door locks .
power lock----white/blue
power unlock-----white/green both (-) polarity
they should be on a grey plug above the drivers kick panel
test----- get a meter and put it on the wire if it shows voltage and then 0's out when you do lock/unlock depending on the wire you are testing then that is the one

bump thread.
I just tried to install a DEI viper 790 in sexcivic's car, and i cant get the power locks to work. the pulses coming from the alarm are negative and i tapped the two wires on the drivers kick panel mentioned earlier. i used relays to provide a ground when the coil is energized by the alarm pulses. it doesnt seem to work, what did i do wrong? should i not be using relays at all and just connect the pulse wires to the factory relay control wires?
