alarm sensitivity

i did a search w/ no luck...
can i adjust the sensitivity of an alarm system???

i have the vadar pager alarm system, and it's not sensitive enough to when the car gets bumped

mine is otherwise. it's too sensitive. a truck roar will make my alarm to go on. i have a prestige alarm.

yes there is look under ur dash, like where ur fuse box is that where they usally put the shock sensore and it should have a little *** that will let u adjust it

Anyone know if you can add a shock sensor to the factory alarm on a 2k2 civic??

Looking to add one since if a window is smashed or the car gets hit while parked I'd never know!!!!

no the oem alarm doesn't play well with aftermarket shock sensors...
