Rep Power: 0 AEM V2 Fitment
Ok iv done some searching and some say the AEMV2 is cold air and some say short ram? Which is it and does it fit LX/DX EX Auto or Manny? Iv seen them for sale as "Fits EX" and "Fits LX/DX" but iv heard that they are all the same so in theory the EX's shoudl fit an LX(given that it is short ram[meaning filter sits in the engine bay and does not dip down near the tranny])

Rep Power: 364 I know what your talking about... all the pictures on web pages are generic too so it sucks when you try to figure it out.
Here is a video I uploaded after I installed my V2 a few weeks ago. Its kinda ggrainy, but you get the idea.

So, I'd say its a short ram because it doesnt dip down and take "cold air" but it is longer then the standard short ram. My filter sits just behind my battery. In real life, the filter is pretty much right behind the back of the battery- that camera angle is a little weird in that way.
As far as DX/LX and EX...
I'm not really sure, I'm assuming that they have different fitments for one reason or another. Why bother making two dif models if there wasnt a difference?
Here is the contact info for AEM:
Advanced Engine Management, Inc.
2205 126th Street, Unit A
Hawthorne Ca. 90250
Phone: (310) 484-2322
Fax: (310) 484-0152
Get at them if your still unsure, 350 bucks is a huge chunk to throw around.
Oh, here is where I ordered mine from, lowest price around (new) w/o a question!!

Rep Power: 0 Ok if this is what Both the LX/DX and EX look like i dont see a problem with an "EX" fitting a LX/or DX so that is my assumption.(if both look like this)
