ok i think everyone here has seen my car at least thru pics or in person and idk why but
everytime i walk past my car lately i look at it and i say u ugly p.o.s. lol...idk why(for some
reason i look at xtreme2k2 and i think goddamn why cant my car look that hot....anyway) i have a local body shop guy who said he can redo my whole kit (repaint for 200$) i gotta do all the re bondo tho run me.......50$ max to redo the whole kit down to FG and bondo. take to him and have him repaint.(i'll get mirrors/handles/rear lip and any other exterior part redone in white.)
so that solves my spider crack problem for at least another year or so. but then i look at the rest of it.....i have it lowered but it doesnt seem low casue the 19's im thinking B&G but then again 800$+ for .75" up front(how much gap i have now) and .75-1" in the rear (i got no fingers as of now but i wanna tuck the rear up to the lip of rim or close to lip as possible) doesnt seem worth 800+for 1"lowering..
i have 19" rev model 2 rims they ares o damn sweet and i got them custom dipped so they look badass with car and give off a good contrast only prob is tires are big and i cannot drop it like its hot... im gonna keep these rims for like 2-3 months so gimme ideas of maybe some other rims that would look equally badass... i can get em redipped too for lie 60$ so gimme color ideas. now their black inside and polished spokes/lip and then i lightly sprayed spokes with black...
then i look at mirrors i found soem JDM self folding motorized mirrors unpainted for 200$...idk if their really worth 200$ casue they open and are convex mirror.. like 200$ for something maybe 3-4 people will notice and i'll never really use. ..
rest of exterior is ok...i like CF but w/o CF roof and trunk a hood looks kinda outa place on my Taffetta white sedan.... headlights are simply cleared and look nice. taillight i wanna shave inside but idk what to do for reverse lights maybe fog's or do the is300 inners(as reverse lights).......car paint is a 10/10 but kit paint is like a 9/10 (im a perfectionist) so i think if i redo kit and paint handles and mirrors and redo back lip.. i'll be like 9.85/10 on the outside...im gonan def take off decals and just keep xclsuiveimports on the side 8" x 3" take off bug XI and 7thgen and AEM...
then i get to the interior my interior is so damn boring.... i found recaro's for 400 each shipped (black w/sliders/etc idk tho 400$x2 for 2 seats that are hard to have sex in and dont allow movement...) and i found corbeau A4(i love the fitment) for 320 each w/ slider's etc....look nice are cheaper....but i heard corbeau are crap... sim has em and all i notice with his are hat the edges kinda move around etc...but whatever i do i def wanna redo back seat and side door panels so that it coordinates...
so then im thinking why not just do Katzkin leather and self install it for like 863.00$ thats dark charcoal w/ dark charcoal stitching and white inserts( i figure the white will look awesome hopefully not ricerish and hoepfully stays clean..) idk anyone know of anywhere else that does LEATHER for cheaper than 863.00 that'l be perfect fitment and look nice and last long?
so far i got reverse indiglo's that look nice and go with theme in car... 2 neon tubes that are hidden and light up car nice...(i need to redo wiring im pulling too many amps thru the wire...) and i got a chap AIWA headunit that matches the neons/gauges perfectly.. overhead dome is done in blue and map lighs are still white so i can see at night inside if i need to.
i have the manta install kit for headunit so that area looks clean..(might be thinking in dash DVD? or something idk. i know a guy who can put Tv in dash and move headunit but how often will i watch TV in my car or play ps2??? i really would like a white stick on accessory kit (like xtreme) and maybe do center console partially in white and maybe somewhere else in car to get the white theme goin...
my rear vibrates but i think i can simply go back there take it out and then put padding and make sure all the clips are snugly fitting and it should be fine... so all in all that takes care of interior.... all my ideas..
then we get to the engine i dont need speed so i ahve a AEM SRI silver and i have 5Zigen exhaust which is nice not too loud not ricey not to quiet.. so as for engine stuff im perfect.
I.C.E. i got 2 12" sony p-5's that hit hard as a **** but someoen stole my headunit that had a cross over so it doesnt hit so hard now and i got diamond M6's up frotn that are so clear its amazing but i did not connect the tweeters i dont know were to put em...
in the back i got pioneer 6.5's and they sound good too i just dont wanna turn up bass and blow em so i run at -5 bass.... the amp i have hooked up to 2 12's sounds great and box ffits perfectly so i just need a crossover but damn the cheapest headunit with cross over is 200$ and then or clear sound i need matting etc casue my trunk vibrates and sounds like *** if im gonna do it im gonna do it right but im such a tight *** cause i only make 100$ a week:-)
please everyone gimme any and all suggestions you have i dont have to keep what i have.... i just seem to like my kit and would kinda wanna keep it..... i can get WW lip kit for 300$...unpainted....but i tink it looks better on coupe... i hate R34, R33, BW, Tsunami, Kaminari, i kind alike xenon sides and rear but i really like my sides and i love my rear.... and my front is ok but hey whatelse will match properly? idk. the rims wil go sooner or later as they always do so gimme ideas about new ones 18"/19" or even 20".....
also how important is an alignment once u get new wheels? im getting camber kit but should i really check kick/toe? i adust the camber with a level so that should be fine.......thank you if u have anything forsale that u'd think i'd like on my car lemme know email me

Rep Power: 0 The ride is insanely pimp if you wanna spice up things how bout removing the door protectors and maybe shaving the trunk? For 1" drop I don't think b+g are worth it but if you want them for shows it would look nice to have the really slammed look. What about molding the kit or would that be too big of a pain cuz you might have to repaint it. Maybe some HIDs, as far as the recaro seats for quality since your a perfectonist get those over corbeau but the katzkin leather seems to be more showish and innovative since you can do the whole interior for about that price as mentioned. Either way straight up pimpin.

I am also very soon gonna get the kit repainted and the front bumper repainted also due to chips and stuff... So dont feel alone man.. I think that sometimes about my ride too bros... The only thing that convinces me that my car is'nt a P.O.S. is when my fellow 7thgen'ers compliment me and when you see the heads turn and the peoples jaw's drop when I pass... I love it...

Rep Power: 0 im not gonna get the JDM mirrors and instead im gonna get a new headunit with a crossover....lol and then mat the trunk...paint rhe mirrors/handles in dec along with redoing the underside of kit... then im gonna get RSX-leather seats and get black leather from katzkin for rear and door panels... (maybe some recaro's idk yet...only thing is i cnat get black leather recaro's))

Rep Power: 368 rijowysock, it sounds to me like you just need a break to refresh the way you look at your car. I was feeling the same way a little while ago, I was just lookin at my ride going "No way I'm gonna be able to compete in shows next year...". I sorta avoided drivin her for a few days, then when I came back, I was able to step back and say "Yeah OK, she IS rather nice looking, what was I thinking?". Like everyone above has stated in one way or another, you might just be getting a little tired of the current mods. Don't go blowing serious loot on bodywork on a whim though, especially molded fiberglass (one curb = $$$$$$$$$). If I had your car, I wouldn't change it much at all. Definitely paint the door handles and mirrors or get some new ones from Honda for the EX, perhaps fill in the inner trunk lights so you only have the corners. OR get CF hood and trunk combo. That'd be sweet. Tack on a front CF splitter and I don't think there's anything else that could be done to enhance the looks any more. Your ride is pretty damn good lookin as it is.
