extend the O2 sensor wire
AND I DID SEARCH no answer
I live in chattoonga TN and they just started Emissions Testing last month what my problem is that i won't pass right now because i have a Kamikaze header which means no Catalytic Converter going to 2.25 custom exhaust piping with a 2.25-Vibrant proformance Stainless Steel Resonator what i'm wanting to do is remove the Resonator and replace it with a Magnaflow 53000 Round Series Catalytic Converter because my Resonator is right by the downpipe but i'll need to extend the O2 sensor wire... ok so my question is if i extend the wire will it still give a good signal to the OBD system?
heres pics of my setup

well i got a Mil Eliminator from bigjoshracing.com and i've had it about a year works great but the instructions that came with it said whatever you do "don't cut or alter the two white wires" so i thought that it might send a bad code to the OBD or somthin

do one of two things. Buy the longer EX O2 sensor at www.hondaautomotiveparts.com it's like $40. Or extend your current one, make quality connections, preferably solder them and keep the wires as far away as possible from heat. As long as you don't start the car with the wires cut, I don't see why it would throw a code.
Use the metal clips the crush down on each wire and have the hole in the middle, then solder that and put shrink wrap on it and the signal should be fine.. Your not really adding that much resistance with a few inches of wire.
