If I were to use a EX Dc Sports Header & use an EX Downpipe (w/ hole for o2 sensor) on a Civic HX would my check engine light come on??? The HX only has one o2 sensor as far as I can see & that is located in the exhaust manifold/cat combo. I know I would have to extend the o2 sensor wire to get it down to the downpipe, but I would not want to do that if the check engine light would go on because the abscence of the catalytic converter. Then my next question would be to get the Tanabe Super Racing Medallion Exhaust for the EX or LX, what are the differences between the two? Any way to avoid welding would be convenient.
