FIRST OFF IF YOU DONT KNOW DONT WASTE MY TIME
can you extend the o2 sensor wires with out messing anything up
basically what i am doing is a dx to ex exhaust swap and the wires are to short. of course i would solder the connections, heat shrink and tuck away from heat

well yes you can do it, but there is a key thought you must keep in mind to do it, if your only extending it a few inches youll be fine but keep in mind that the longer a wire is the more resistance it has, although it may not be much it could be enough to affect it, just measure the resistance of the wire before you do it, it should read OFL or 0 and as long as it has no resitance reading you shouldnt run into any problems.
Yes you can i did it for my exhaust.....check it.

I have a dx so the original o2 sensor is very short and after i made my own exhaust i wanted the secondary o2 sensor so i just cliped it and extended it. It will not cause any problems as long as you make sure your conections are good.
