exhaust conversion fitment question

I have read the DX->EX exhaust threads (which is what im doing) and I just want to make sure that I have everything right. If I get an EX header, extend the O2 sensor wire, get a high flow cat and an EX exhaust it will all bolt up right? THe only part that I'm really unsure about is whether the cat is on a "downpipe" or if it bolts to the header and catback portion.

So you have any lx ? and you want to put an ex exhaust system on it ? I would say since you'rte putting an ex exhaust on the cat will bolt to the down pipe.
