headlight plasma questions

i'm having some problems with my plasma bulbs. i meant to fool around with my casing because i'm looking into clearing my heads, and now my low beams dont work. saying the bulb burnt out would be the easy way to go, however this is the second time since june.

the first time was when i took it into the shop to get my AC motor replaced. i think you have to unplug, or even take it out the casing. it was returned with the low beam not working. i took it back and they said its just burnt out.

well... now i took out the opposite headlight and see how it will all be taken apart. so now the low beam doesnt work on the other side. i was not rough with it when taking it out either.
my question is, is there something going on with the plasmas that i'm not aware of, or am i just unlucky with burnouts?

There is a recall with the low beams burning out. Take it to Honda and see if your VIN is covered. 100% free. You should have gotten a notice in the mail, unless you recently got your car. They probably won't cover the burnt out bulbs tho.
