i just went and got the hanger today (along with a new honda gas cap (came out to 30 bucks give or take a quarter) i am definitly annoyed, i left my cap on the trunk, and drop off without it! augh! another reason to go get one ;-)

Probably between $5 and $10. Or you can order online, but then you pay shipping. It comes out about even.

why dont you just trade in your 2k1 vics for a 2002 vic then you wont have to go through the trouble of ordering the part and installing it and everything.

I don't get why we even need the hanger...just put the cap on your trunk lid while pumping and put it back when done. My 2k1 doesnt come with gas hanger.

It's not good to put your gas cap on the paint. That's why if you don't have one, you can do a DIY hanger.

lol this makes me feel like goin out and checkin if i have one on my recently bought '02

i sure have driven off once without the cap with my older '99. but just remembered right b4 i left the gas station
