according to the dealer and a ex honda tech who was my teacher, they are lifetime filters. they only need replacing when fuel system pressure drops below the rated PSI, or possibly when changing the fuel pump. other then that, you dont need to change it. I changed mine because I thought otherwise and after the install, the fuel pump failed. dont know why, but the filter is a about $60 from the dealer and its located in the fuel tank. its attached to the fuel pump assembly. autozone has one for like $25, but it may be wrong. the filter isnt a small filter, it looks like a can with arms.
