according to the dealer and a ex honda tech who was my teacher, they are lifetime filters. they only need replacing when fuel system pressure drops below the rated PSI, or possibly when changing the fuel pump. other then that, you dont need to change it. I changed mine because I thought otherwise and after the install, the fuel pump failed. dont know why, but the filter is a about $60 from the dealer and its located in the fuel tank. its attached to the fuel pump assembly. autozone has one for like $25, but it may be wrong. the filter isnt a small filter, it looks like a can with arms.

not serviceable means it has no maintenance schedule, or is not a scheduled maintenance part.

kinda like your car's pistons. they are not a serviceable part, because there is no interval at which you're supposed to change them out.

yeah but like a piston can float, a fuel filter can still clog, I should have said it isn't needed though, you're right.
