What car did you get the cluster from? IIRC if you have a non ABS car and you got it from a car that did have ABS, then the ABS light will be on because there is no signal and it thinks there's a system malfunction. *shrug*
I will check my manual to see if it mentions anything about the DRL and washer fluid. Unfortunately not familiar with Canadian model Civics.

your dx does not have abs, i guess the new cluster you got does. if you want the light to go off, i think you can just ground the abs wire to the chassis. BUT im not totally sure on this. if that doesnt work, you may need to apply 12v power to it. again, just guessing. if something blows up, dont blame me. just ideas. heres the green plug diagram...
for the wht/blu drl wire, it needs to go to pin 13 of the green plug.
for the washer fluid, your pnk wire would have to go to pin 10 in the green plug.

idk, i didnt think the gauges had anything to do with the drl actually coming on in the headlight but maybe. thats where the service book shows me for those two wires so im not sure what else to try. you could check all the fuse by the battery just in case. try that first. the gas gauge, idk. either it works or stays at the bottom on E. so if its above E, it may be a problem with the gauge itself. i know alot of them the gas and temp gauges break easily and wont work right for some reason.

OK.. Because, before I connect de DRL wire to the cluster, my DRL were not working, When Ive pluged the DRL wire into the Cluster, the DRL signal just come on, BUT, the DRL lights dont light up!!! I dont heard noisy sound or anything else.. when I open my lights, the DRL signal goes Off... I really dont know, ive check up all the fuse, and its all okay... Under the dash its okay...

alright guys I just got the cluster yesterday and I've been looking over the wiring charts. I have an 05 DX VP swapping to the 03-05 nice red cluster with tach
. I'm just a little confused here about people saying that you have to splice the yellow/black wire. I'm not sure what wire your supposed to tap into? I was looking at the charts and the only wires that I couldn't find a spot for are the blue/red and blue/yellow that are on the green connector. are they supposed to just be taped off and not used at all? or am I going crazy here. I understand that some of the blue connector wires need to go over to the green one but I just don't see a spot for those 2 wires.

okay wow nvm I think I just figured it out! That second chart I just found is so much more easier to understand! I'll put up some pics of my progress.

okay guys wtf how come the bezel doesn't come out after i unscrew the 2 screws holding it in?? I can't get the damn thing over the steering column thing for some reason and I cant see anything that is holding it down. I have an 05 dx btw.
Re: 01-03 to 04-05 Gauge Cluster Swap: DONE! Pics inside w/ Pin removing FAQ & Video
uhh...there should be 3 screws holding it in...1 ontop in the middle and 2 on the bottom (left and right)
lower your steering wheel all the way down to get it out.
man...if you can't get the cluster out of the car, then how are you going to even repin it...

mine was a pain to get out as well, it just takes a little careful pulling. i don't think i ended up getting mad at mine, you just have to work the bottom back and forth a little i think. but at first i did have a little problem getting it out. OH YEAH now i remember, make sure it isn't getting caught on the trip/meter button or whatever. hahahaha, i'll bet that's what was happening.
by the way, you are talking about the shroud that you have to take out first, before the cluster.

if you're talking about the shroud then you just need to get a flat head screw driver and place it into the bottom of the shroud and give it some leverage. So push the flat head to the bottom of the shroud and pry it up. you should hear a pop. Do that to both sides and it should come out.

well guys i just got everything installed and now my gas guage isnt working says i'm empty but I have half a tank lol. Also, the oil light turns on automatically when i start the car but when I turn my lights on the oil lamp turns off. Not sure if I have something plugged into the wrong spot or not.
Re: 01-03 to 04-05 Gauge Cluster Swap: DONE! Pics inside w/ Pin removing FAQ & Video
That makes 2 of us does your right blinker work? and your climate controls? my climate controls dont work or my cd-player i think i blew a fuse or something too busy to find out haha!
Re: 01-03 to 04-05 Gauge Cluster Swap: DONE! Pics inside w/ Pin removing FAQ & Video
You mixed up some wires. Also the gas gauge was the wire that you had to extend.
There is something wrong because i tripple checked mine before i pluged everything back together and my cluster works flawlessly.

Double check your wiring and then have someone else check it. You might be confused on some of the color of the wiring, esp when they say BLACK/RED. the second color is always the strip color.
Re: 01-03 to 04-05 Gauge Cluster Swap: DONE! Pics inside w/ Pin removing FAQ & Video
idk about your problem man sorry. My blinkers work and my cd player and climate control. I'd suggest checking all your fuses. I just checked mine and one of them inside the cabin is kinda scorched black on the prongs but the metal part that connects the two prongs looks good. Not sure if that means anything. The only thing that I think I might have done wrong is that I cut the red/white wire from the blue connector to extend the yellow/black wire to the blue connector, and I think I have the white/red wire from the green connector plugged back into the green connector. If I did it how I just explained would that be why my gas gauge doesn't work?
Re: 01-03 to 04-05 Gauge Cluster Swap: DONE! Pics inside w/ Pin removing FAQ & Video
alright guys I figured out how to fix the stupid magic lamp icon that goes with the high beams too. Check your connections on the blue connector. I had the red/yellow and the yellow/red wire mixed up. After I put them in the right place the high beam icon works and the magic lamp is gone. So far i'm still lost on the gas gauge anyone know what wires I should check?

alright guys here's some pics of what I did with some details on what I think I did wrong:

okay well **** the picture I edited didn't turn out so you can read the words I typed. But follow the yellow lined arrows. The white/red wire in the middle is the one I cut to extend the yellow/black wire. But am I supposed to extend it and splice it into the white/red wire that connects to the green connector?

the cluster i had didnt have a tach it was just the retarted speedometer and heat and gas guage. I got the 03-05 guages with the nice red glow and a nice tach. Look around and you'll find it.
