I have the VTEC engaged in my support tool, and I changed the VTEC engagement to 4500, and it hits hard.
Only sometimes the error 14 comes on, and I just turn the car on & off twice to reset it & then it works great.
I had that CEL come on when the Air flow meter was at 3, but I changed it to 1 & reset mu ECU by disconnecting negative wire on battery & no CEL after that.

Sorry, my VTEC did not have to engage for the oil pressure to increase, the VTM wire (Oil Pressure Switch) that goes from ECU to E-manage might be the culprit. Does anybody know how this interaction works?

Here I am quoting myself, anyway well crap. I thought I had it figured out, but when I started it this morn it came on again? Doesn't do it when the car is warmed up though, so I am still wondering exactly what is causing it (the error 14 that is).

Result = error
That sounds like a possible culprit. I will keep experimenting though.

Well I disconnected the VTEC wites & VTM from E-Manage and connected them back to ECU. No more error 14's - my neighbor's were getting mad at me for warming up my car like that when I started it.
But it doesn't feel the same - kinka like Vtec is not engaging anymore, smooth power up to redline, no kick from vtec - don't know why?

Hey whats UP
Any helpful hints on the ignition, I can't get mine to work but I shorted out the harness and the car starts. wondered what Jumper configuration everyone was using ???

My harness would be hooked up like this
4 - 8 - C
ch 1 in to yellow green coil 1
ch 1 out to ecu yellow green coil 1
ch 2 in to white blue coil 3
ch 2 out to ecu white blue coil 3
ch 3 in to brown coil 4
ch 3 out to ecu brown coil 4
ch 4 in to blue red coil 2

To use the vtec setting in the emanage - try this:
I don't have an EX - so I can't do this. But this is the supposed magical fix....
if you are using the emanage to control the engagement point you will need to connect a resistor in parallel with the emanage's VTEC input. Without the resistor the ECU will think that the VTEC solenoid is faulty/not connected and will throw a CEL. Use a 820 ohm 1W resistor.

Interesting, where did you find this? I might try it when I return home & have a spare hour or 2.

If you didn't know what error 14 was, it is the vtec input or output (can't remember which) error that is fixed by disconnecting the vtec wires from the emanage. I have been running like this for about 6 months now and my car pulls very hard on only 5 psi. I did have a problem when I put a wide band on the car and tried to make fuel adjustments.....it seems like when you adjust the fuel rich/lean the wideband will show adjustments but after about 10 seconds they start to go back to what they were before.....anyone noticed this? It seems like the stock ecu is fighting the changes.....

I posted a possible fix already - I believe you need to install a diode to get the VTEC to work properly.....No one seemed to want to try it though.
