Fast Blinker (Not Bulb)
Fast Blinker (Not Bulb)
Recently I've had an issue with my 2005 Civic EX SE where the front driver's side blinker doesn't blink and the rear will blink rapidly. I changed the bulb and it still doesn't work. I thought possibly it could be a relay, but I'm not sure. And, what I really don't understand is that if I lock the car with my key fob, all the lights, including the front driver's side, lights up correctly. Also, when I press the yield flashers all the blinkers work except the front left. I know basic electrical, but it's definitely not my specialty. I have had LED headlights that I installed over a year ago, and haven't had any issues at all with them or the blinkers. The passenger side blinker works perfectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

the bulb in question is a dual filament bulb. Could the bulb socket have problems? Can you swap it with the other side that still works?
Re: Fast Blinker (Not Bulb)
Yes! Swapped them, and, what do you know the problem switched sides so I know that the socket is the problem. Hard to tell with the socket because it didn't show any signs of corrosion or anything. I ordered a replacement for about 10$ on Amazon so it'll be an easy fix. Thank you ezone!
