signal light question, please help
hey, i just bought a set of super bright led turn signals for my headlights, but when i put them in, the turn signal blinks really fast when its on, almost like its going to short out, but when i put the old lights back in, it returns to normal? any ideas on whats going on here??

Re: signal light question, please help
its called hyper blinking....
the regular bulb is a flament bulb, and when it lights up, it creates a resistance and they car knows the bulb is still working....so when it blows out, ur car starts blinking fast indicating that the flament on the bulb is out.
with an LED bulb, there is VERY VERY little resistance, so little that the car think u have a "blown bulbs" so it blinks really fast telling u ur bulb is out.
u need to buy a load resistor to fix the problem, here

Re: signal light question, please help
that's correct...I had the same problem when i put led turns in my taillights...got the same resistors...they still blink a little fast, but it's close enough to the stock speed...not enough to really notice or worry about
