Yea.. Let us know what the multimeter tells you.. Only way to know for sure. You're using 14-16ga wire taps? I think you need the 18-22ga ones..

Heres a quick diagram of my setup.
Blue is the tap connector.
Orange are quick connect(spin cap thingy)
Pink is spare 16 guage wire.

Interesting.. definitely take a multimeter to it.. I'm out of ideas.. Unless you LEDs magically **** themselves..
Re: What HID bulb type do I need?
but i tested them with batterys after. lol. yup borrowing a multimeter in the morning. ill report back, if there is no current then that means the tap thing isnt doing a good job cause the parking light is working so current is getting through from that wire, its the 16guage that might be causing problems. ill report in the morning if you are all out of ideas
Re: What HID bulb type do I need?

Re: What HID bulb type do I need?
that sucks.. I'm assuming you double checked all your connections, switched the bulbs to see if it works on the other side, checked fuses, etc?
Re: What HID bulb type do I need?
the bulb not working is actually my fault, i turned it on and was working on the right side, then i realized the other sides plastic covering was still on, i tested the ballast on the other side and it worked so its the bulb, especially as it was previously working and the heat melted the plastic to the bulb.
needless to say i got the plastic off with a lighter but the bulb doesnt work anymore =[
ordering new ones off amazon to last as long as they do, while the replacement ones come
getting the new bulbs from amazon tomorrow.

Re: What HID bulb type do I need?
save up and get a retrofit done? I'm kinda pissed that I waited so long to get one because the light output is FAR better than what it was when I had my regular halogen projectors with an H1 HID kit.
However, I've been using a DDM tuning slim HID kit since april, and I've been nothing but pleased with it. I'm gonna go ahead and assume your halo projectors are h1 bulbs, so you'd need an H1 kit. Oh, with an H1 kit, you'll need to take a dremel to the projector housing so the HID bulb will fit. Just a bit of forewarning.

the first picture I have in that thread is a comparison of an H1 HID kit and an HID retrofit.
