Turn Signal

My brake light no longer works and turn signal no longer works on the left side...The light does turn on though.I've tried multiple bulbs for the turn and brake. The turn signal blinks super fast on my cluster also.its the left side

Fuse maybe?

Re: Turn Signal

Black wiring that connects to the metal chassis of the car. Start at the bulbs socket and go backwards.

Re: Turn Signal

Make sure the connection point at the chassis is tight (connector ring terminals are held tight to chassis with screw) You could try removing the screw and terminals and clean grounding area and connectors with some sandpaper and re-secure.

What year are we talking about ??

Re: Turn Signal

Grounds O.K. ??

Grab a cheap 12 Volt test lamp at the auto store. Or a cheap DMM and test if voltages present. Inspect sockets terminals to make sure they are not damaged.

I have the wiring page available if you need it. PM with E-mail address and I can send it to you.

Re: Turn Signal

^ if the wire isnt getting pinched, then a larger fuse will blow the bulbs.

Got a voltage meter? - compare the two sides.

Re: Turn Signal

The sockets should run $6-$10 my guess. Nice thing is they are easy to change do to the connectors used.
