so wait, that line you have drawn on those shields that look like mine.. thats where i would cut? what should i use, tin snips? does it have to be cut so as to be the same as the other projector, or just trimmed back?

i am going to be doing the retrofit this week/weekend, this is all i need to know. well, im sure i will get stuck at some point on the installlation and have to come ask more questions..

it would have to be cut the same. you could use metal nibbler from radio shack to get most of it, and then try to make it as exact as possible to the other side with a file. it wont matter that much, since its not as important as the cutoff line. so long as its fairly close to the other side it shouldnt matter. i would just trace a pattern first before cutting.

when cut make sure u dont go all the way up and shield is not catching any light..if does then u will see a line at the bottom like mine...with limiter...
if u cut bit extra its ok...as long as shield can stay between the blow and lens holder.

i would use dermal kit to cut this

so i can kinda use the one w/o the limiter and trace it onto the other one, then cut. will it matter which side each projector goes on?

and btw thanks for all the help. i will post plenty of pics once i get the retrofit completed.

those valeos arent great anyway, they have the lines on them

there will be limited color and the beam will not be sharp =\

guess its good if u are in a dark area

you mean fresneled lens? i have them and its not even noticable. the cutoff isnt as sharp but there arent any weird patterns in the light beam.

the old tsx looked like ricer lights imo. they were way too bright for some reason either bad aiming or the lens.
