you mean you want to pay more than $30 for hids? well there is a place for that too lol www.hidplanet.com forums and you can spend $300 for a very nice oem hid retrofit with oem ballasts and bulbs.

Um well i've got 6000k bulbs in the headlights and the fogs so they match, i like them a lot! I can defiantly see the difference in lighting on my drives! It's a lot of fun switching to my high-beams and seeing how much LESS i see! hahaha fogs probably don't do much other than look cool! haha

most of the PNP kits put into ebay headlights that we've seen result in terrible lighting and cutoffs. that's why i was asking so many questions, because yours looks great!

Kind of finished my retro today. It looks like trs changed their relays so they are actually decent quality. My setup is temporary as in a week they are coming out with a harness that will work without modification on our ground switched lights. So they work, just not the high beams. Don't have any wall shots yet. Just finished today and it hasn't been dark out.

Anyone know where I can buy retro fit?
It's more expensive than DDM tuning but for someone that is doing this stuff for a first time, their customer service and kit setup makes it easier.

To keep my questions in a more relevant thread - what's the difference in the H1 vs the D2S minis in terms of mounting them in the aftermarket housing? The only reason I prefer the aftermarket is the blacked out housing and shroud...I'm not good with paint so I was hoping to avoid painting the stock headlights black.

ah okay. mini h1 and d2s are pretty similar in size, but they use different bulbs. the h1 version has a vastly better output pattern and brightness. d2s version really should not even be sold anymore its that bad.

Re: HID Pic post!!
Got it...I was looking at reviews and youtube vids of the H1s with the morimoto ballasts and I'm quite impressed. I was looking at the headlight fixtures today, and it looks like i just have to drill a couple of holes into the stock projector mounting plate and I should be able to fit them with little difficulty...now I just have to wait for tax money to order the kit!
