OEM Fog Lights Wiring Harness?

I have a 2005 EX Special Edition USDM
Does anyone know if the car is manufactured with the OEM Fog Light wiring harness already in place? Otherwise there will have to be a lot of work to get the wiring into the car. Some cars are built with great modularity and already have wiring harnesses in place despite not all of them having fog lights.
Is this true on 04-05 Civics? Does anyone have experience installing OEM Fog Lights on a 7th gen that could help?
I've already looked under the front bumper, but I did not see any evidence of wiring to the lower corners.

As far as I know, our cars doesn't come with it out of the factory.
Unless it came with fog lights already.
When you buy the OEM kit, it comes with the harness and instructions I believe. I don't remember. Do not buy cheap or ebay ones, their harness is nothing compared to the OEM. OEM is so much easier to install in my opinion.

Re: OEM Fog Lights Wiring Harness?

Okay, looks like I'll have to set aside a good long weekend or find a body shop that's willing to dig into the car quite a bit. The lights I have are Vinjet brand and are labeled as OEM. To me, the wiring harness in the kit looks nearly identical to the one in the official Honda fog light installation instructions I found online.

I'll probably have a professional do the installation if it involves all the panel work described by the manual. The trick is finding a place that will do it. The Honda dealership rejected it right away claiming they will NEVER install aftermarket parts for any price. Weird... because OEM is technically not aftermarket... I know some 04-05 were sold with the same fog lights.

Don't use the OEM harness it's harder. Gearbox made a DIY. Just read this it will tell you what you need to do.

Re: OEM Fog Lights Wiring Harness?

I got ebay foglights and it took me an hour to install them and cost me 35$... VERY easy. as posted above you can DIY.

I have had mine in for 3 years ZERO issues.

Also for the 04-05 civics, the fog lights were not even an option as told to me by the dealer. Even if you wanted them they were not available which I thought was odd.
