must be canadian car. no washer fluid in snow/salt on the roads could be safety issue...

Yeah. Some cars do. Mine has one IIRC. I've seen the spot and the icon, but I've never actually seen it light up. But yeah, more than likely the sensor for it is faulty or it may just need to be cleaned.

Well, I used to own a 2003 Civic and the washer light came on, Never actually figured it out. The washer tank was completely full. I never really cared much.
Only the Canadian cars have sensor levels in them. I live in Canada but now own a 2005 American Civic, and it doesn't have a Washer fluid gauge on it. Sucky
